Alsacian storks and sunset, cigognes et coucher de soleil

Eglise de Reguisheim avec sa cigogne
Church of Reguisheim (Alsace) and his stork

View all 6 photos...
The stork is one of the most popular emblem of Alsace. We have the luck that more and more storks (that have grown up in "storks farm") turn back to a wild life and take over the nests that people get ready for this occasion. This Monday we saw storks with babies in 3 nests.

Ce Lundi de Paques nous avons pu constater que 3 nids étaient habités par des cigognes et leur petit cigogneau entre Baldersheim et Meyenheim (Haut-Rhin)

Marvellous shots !! Thu 15-Apr-2004 02:19

Dans les collines Vosgiennes, Walk on the foothills of Vosges

Westhalten
Westhalten and the Grand Ballon covered with snow
Village and vineyard of Westhalten
View all 18 photos...
This Sunday we went out for a walk in the foothills of the "Vosges". Departure was on the village of Westhalten, and then we went up through the vineyard. The vineyard of westhalten and Soultzmatt is very famous because he benefits of a warm "micro-climate". The vine wich grows here is very good and the most well known are " Gewurtztraminer, Riesling, Muscat, Pinot gris" On the top of the hill we enjoyed the sight of the "Grand Ballon" snow covered; and we saw very pretty flowers; the most of them are rare, and are protected.
Sur les chaumes des hauteurs de Westhalten, nous avons pu voir de magnifiques fleurs, de plus il y a un sentier botanique flèché qui part du village (pour les amateurs de la région)

Absolutely gorgeous! Tue 13-Apr-2004 13:33

What is growing under Mum's windows

View all 12 photos...
This morning the weather was fresh but sunny and invites to work in the garden. I draw my inspiration by watching in Mum's glasshouse and windows, that cover the young seedlings.
The glass was covered by condensation drops and the effect was amazing but it's 3 x pitty because the glass was not clean! Never mind, I made any shots.

I wish you all a happy and peaceful Easter Henri Joyeuses Pâques

These are absolutely fabulous! What a great find in the garden Sun 11-Apr-2004 22:15

The last meal fotoshop work
fotoshop work with calvary of Aspach
sad day
View all 6 photos...
Its a sad day but the sun is not far away. In our country, along of the lanes, between of the fields we can see old calvaries. They was ofen erected by families after an fatal accident, in the past time when farmers worked very hard in theirs fields with horses, oxes and cows. I can remenber when my own grandfather was bringing home his hay with a tumbrel pulled by 2 cows (1962). Fall under the Wheel could be fatal.

good job with photoshop... Fri 9-Apr-2004 22:41

This strange stone was found in december 2003 by M. Hug, as he was diging a well, 5 or 6 meter underground. The stone is made up many hundred fine coats and was certainly formed in the Jurassic period, when Alsace was under an ocean. yes the stone you are watching is many million yars old.

J'aime les trois premieres , effet tres design !! et l'explication de texte , il faudra que tu me montres ce gros caillou Fri 9-Apr-2004 08:31
