Meeting with insects - Rendez-vous avec les insectes

This sunday was a very lucky and sunny day. I believe that all insect had an appointement or better a first date with me and invited me for shotting them portraits. So i made more than 40 good shots this week-end and cannot show you all of them today.

Walk in the "Vosges" by rainy weather, Dimanche pluvieux

Hi, all friends. I went in Algeria for a little business trip and could also not post any pics ( and i not evn watched your work of art). I hope i can show you any pics, i made with my old pocket camera; but that's for tomorrow!
Last sunday we made a walk in our mountains "Vosges". Weather was very fresh and it rained cats and dogs and i got my jacket wet   however i made any shots that i will show you now.

My contribution to the dandelion story

I expect that you now the origine of the word dandelion. Its origine is the french word "Dent de lion", translated, lions tooth on account of its leaves (in German Löwenzahn").
You now also that children play "dandelion clock" and can see what time it is 
Dont laugh, i can promiss you that the story is true  i could shot this wonderful moment 
I want also add the card of Europ in order to show you where is place the country Alsace and my vilage Rixheim (it's also the home of Sabine)

Sunday by my biketrip, i found a "deposit" of abandoned machine under an old barn in the fields near of Rixheim. Unfortunately the machines was squashed up like sardines and it was vey difficult to get the good light level and the place to make the shots
NB: the tumbril has not got its original wheels, as you can see it on pic 7. Initially there where wood wheels ringed with iron, with spokes
